Mr. Haslund-Christensen is also an experienced globetrotter and has directed several expeditions to Mongolia and Central Asia. In the opening speech he recounted his personal experience of the consequences of climate change at a recent visit to Mongolia.

The 100 photographies covered all of Store Torv - "The Great Square" - in Århus.

In spite of heavy rain the exhibition attracted many spectators the day after the opening.
