I just saw your ad on Australian TV. It\'s rather heavily based on an appeal to people\'s emotions, isn\'t it? Save your money. Here in Australia we\'re learning the difference between religious zealotry and real science.

I have been doing a lot of studying and research on climate and climate change dating back to as far as I can find information on. I learned that every 100,000 years the earth goes through a warm period that last between 15,000 years and 20,000 years. We are said to be in the 18,000 year of this warm period yet we are still warming up. My theory, and my question, is did the industrial revolution postpone the next ice age, therefore, not letting the earth cool off as normal and possibly, in future years, create an inferno world that is to hot for humans to live on? Also there are some who call global warming a hoax. I can understand some of why they may call it a hoax, however, no matter what they say or how anyone may think, the earth is warming up. The evidence is there with all the ice and such falling off and melting in both the north and the south. A reference for the years of warm period: http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/ice_ages.html A reference for global warming hoax: http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/07/the_global_warming_hoax_how_soon_we_forget.htm I would really like some feedback on both issues addressed here. I would really like to know what others think of this. Thank you, TD

I’ve just finished reading The Impact And Exit Event – which discusses an impactor colliding with Earth (at a shallow angle, from what I can see) and then exiting as it disintegrated in the area of the Himalayas. The evidence used to promote this is mostly geology based and looks quite convincing. In fact I was surprised to find that all of Earth’s landmasses are actually connected (Google – Buckminster Fuller Dymaxion Map), which fits with what the author is proposing (thats not in the book, I found the Dymaxion map myself, lol). Other parts of the book focus on (for example) Mars and the author refutes any idea that Valles Marineris was created by tectonic upheaval. His take is that the surface of Mars provides a ‘timeline’ of events following an impact with another planet that culminated in the creation of the vast Valles Marineris canyon system. I’m not ruling this out given his explanation of how the impact created antipodal outcomes including the way in which the Noctis Labyrinthus (the western end of Valles Marineris) and the Olympus Mons regions were formed. I found myself cross referencing the books claims with what is available from NASA etc and have to say it was an educational and enjoyable experience. If you are interested the ebook is available from Amazon and from the website of the books name. I have just realized that this sounds like an advert for the book so I had better leave it there. Bye! Sarah.
